MediaCom is
the media services division of Grey
Global Group, now a unit within WPP. It is one of the
widest-ranging global media shops, with offices in 80 countries, although it
is strongest in just a few major markets, especially Germany and the UK. It was the
#7 media specialist worldwide in 2006 with billings of $21.7bn (according
to Recma). Despite its position as the smallest of the three main media
networks now under WPP's control, MediaCom is expected to
remain independent of MindShare
and Mediaedge: CIA, although it
