VF Corporation (US)

VF Corporation is the world's largest manufacturer of branded clothing, and the company behind such well-known brands as Wrangler and Lee Jeans, The North Face outdoor clothing and accessories, among many others. The group claims to be the world's leading manufacturer of jeanswear, ahead of Levi Strauss. More recently VF took its first move into the sportswear market with the acquisition of Nautica, the upscale clothing and lifestyle accessories designer. In 2007, the group took a strategic decision to exit what was once its core business of lingerie. Those brands, including Vanity Fair after which the company was originally named, were sold to Fruit of the Loom.
